Many people prefer to purchase phones from independent retailers such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Circuit City. A large number of customers prefer to purchase from retail stores that belong to network providers. The fourth element of the marketing mix is promotion. Promotion is the process of informing customers about a company's product. Motorola effectively uses television, network providers, and its own website to promote its products.
