These were the words that came out of Queen Elizabeth's mouth. She was ruler of England from 1559 until her death in 1603. She was the daughter of King Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. He was born on 7 September 1533 at Greenwich Palace in London. (“Queen Elizabeth I” Royal). Elizabeth is best known for England's golden age, also known as the Elizabethan era (biography of "Queen Elizabeth I"), and also for the defeat of the Spanish Armada. She was crowned queen on 15 January 1559 by Owen Oglethorpe, Bishop of Carlisile at Westminster Abbey (“Elizabeth I”, Queen). Elizabeth had a strong mind, but was not a stubborn ruler. She always listened to everyone's advice and was devoted to her people. She was strong, capable and independent, but Elizabeth was flexible. He balanced the interests of different people in court (Frey, 341). She is said to have displayed her father's views on monarchy and showed great wisdom by directly refusing Parliament ("Elizabeth I" Britannia). Queen Elizabeth never married, because she thought her husband would take her power. She said she was married to the English people (Frey, 341). She never wanted to use her wedding vows for political purposes (Elizabeth I BBC). England experienced its golden age under his rule. He supported education, fashion, literature, theater and dance. It strengthened the economy of England. He also agreed to have English trading companies in Africa, Asia and the Americas. The deaths of her closest friends and advisors such as Leicester, Walshingham, Burghley and Essex are believed to have affected her so much that she took her own life ("Elizabeth"). She was succeeded by James I, son of Mary, Queen of Scots. His death brought an end to the House of Tudor and the Stuart dynasty ("Elizabeth I, Queen") was born. Queen Elizabeth was a strong ruler. He kept his head high, despite the challenges he faced during his reign and even before his rule. When she was the ruler of England, England experienced its golden age and also defeated the Spanish Armada. When her country faced the most difficult situations, she had the courage to defend herself and her country. Elizabeth had some qualities that some rulers had never had. These qualities have made her one of the most honored monarchs in the world, and she is still honored today.
