A high school student usually has their parents or guardians living in the same house with them. So the high school student has someone to rely on in various situations. When a student returns home they find themselves in a loving and caring environment with someone they can count on for food and something to drink. High school students tend to try to be themselves, but often look to someone else. “Evidence also suggests that early adolescence represents a particularly influential developmental stage” (Mann par.15). Students have someone to help, guide and support them every day. It allows students to feel a sense of supervision and this tends to help students make the right decisions in life. Without supervision, students may believe they can do whatever they want without consequences for their actions. In most cases, high school students live in a house with a bathroom and shower shared only with siblings and parents. In most cases, high school students live in a relatively normal-sized home.
