In my short nursing career I sometimes struggle with my confidence and leadership skills in guiding and coaching others starting their nursing careers . My unit manager sees me very differently. She sees me as an experienced nurse with the ability to teach, educate and have a beneficial influence on new nurses and nursing students. This inner conflict is slowly disappearing little by little as I complete each class to earn a nursing degree.
