On the last Friday of each month I will be responsible for providing an email acknowledgment. I want to develop it in my department first and hope to implement it company-wide after a year. The recognition program would let me glean some of the best efforts made, great impressions left, and overall praise from different employees. Initially I would collect the different stories or simply thank you to someone for providing positivity in the workplace and compile them into a department-wide email. For example, I could recognize everyone who works in accounts payable for a fantastic job converting direct deposit information from one company to another and for working so hard. That information would be sent in an email sent to everyone in the department so we can appreciate our staff. It could also be done for an individual or for an experience someone may have had or even for achievements of some kind outside of the company's relevant workplace. A simple recognition can go a long way
