In the book A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens, the mob mentality has a great impact on the plot. A Tale of Two Cities, shows how mob mentality ties into history repeating itself, depicting murders and manslaughters and even riots. History always finds a way to repeat itself. A Tale of Two Cities, describes the French Revolution and the citizens who experience it. Many citizens follow the will of the leaders, to avoid being executed, this means taking part in the mob mentality because even though they may not do what they want, they do what everyone else does, so they can integrate. people can participate in something so vulgar even when they don't mean to.
