Likewise, he also learns that life can give you more than one chance, and that sometimes it takes more than the first chance to get it right. Many things happen in life and sometimes we are not given more than one chance. And when we get a second chance, sometimes we get it right, but sometimes we fail that chance too. Before going to the restaurant for the family meal, when Heidi's father and Auden were arguing, Auden's father had a second chance in a situation that closely resembled an altercation that Auden remembers with his father and mother.
