Topic > The advantages of renewable energy? - 1501

The world's population has increased exponentially since the beginning of the 18th century. In the 20th century, the world's population nearly quadrupled, from 1.5 to 6.1 billion people. As the population increases, one of the main concerns of engineers will be to harness and manipulate energy so that it can sustain the world. When the population was lower, in the early 20th century, it was very easy to maneuver energy so that it could support everyone in the world. However, as the population began to increase, it became more difficult to harness and manipulate energy. Over the past two decades, engineers have been very successful in harnessing and manipulating energy as they have discovered. Renewable energy comes from natural resources such as wind, rain, sunlight, waves and more. Over the years, engineers have found various efficient ways to use and harness renewable energy. One of the main advantages of this type of energy is the fact that it can be used for a long period of time without being wasted. Furthermore, this type of energy is cleaner and much more beneficial for the environment since it involves a minimal amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Renewable energy is also cheaper and more convenient than any other source of generated energy. Because of these benefits of renewable energy, engineers have set out to find more efficient ways of using renewable energy. Over the past two decades, engineers have managed to find more efficient ways to harness and manipulate renewable energy. One of the main types of renewable energy that we have used the most is wind energy. Wind energy is the energy produced by the force of the wind. Throughout the 20th century, wind energy was used by sailboats as fuel to move the boat in different directions. In the past this was the most common way to ship goods. Sailboats were also used as a means of transportation. Additionally, wind energy is used to power wind turbines and convert wind energy into electricity. Without wind energy, producing electricity and shipping goods would have been very difficult, and life on earth might have disappeared. Therefore, efficient ways of using renewable energy such as wind energy have played a huge role for our existence and have made engineers more capable of exploiting
