I would probably thank him and completely agree with him. For this man said his relatives never owned slaves and you couldn't blame them. I would somewhat agree with this form for some of my experiences. It reminded me of a time with a young white man who wanted us to learn about the New Testament. “Mr. Wilson, who proposed to keep a Sabbath school for the education of such slaves as might be willing to learn to read the New Testament.” (Douglass 48). It showed that this man cared about African Americans and hopes that his relatives were the same way. Being a slave was the worst experience of my life and I would like to share some of my experiences
