In the chaotic mess of people like Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan and the Kardashians there is an underrated role model, Taylor Swift. At just twenty-four years old, he holds the prestige of having won seven Grammys, becoming one of the greatest musical sensations. Aside from his music, his sharp attitude is receiving recognition from many people. Taylor Swift is the best role model for girls due to her clean public image. Taylor continues to maintain her clean look by making wise clothing decisions. Her awareness of being a role model and inspiring girls is a decision she chooses to permanently tattoo in her mind. In the 60 Minutes special, she tells Leslie Stahl that when she gets dressed in the morning, she thinks about the opinions of millions of fans who have confided in her (Swift). She is aware that something as simple as her wardrobe choice is something that makes young women look up to her. A single provocative piece of clothing she chooses to wear has the ability to alter girls' clothing style, but she doesn't try to experiment with bold choices. Taylor knows that her clothing choices are monitored by such a young audience and doesn't find this a challenging task. In an old interview for Glamor Magazine she states that it is easy for her to keep her clothes on and she refuses to take them off (Swift). Swift expresses no intention of exposing the flesh because he wants… middle of paper… who his subjects are. Additionally, the media makes fun of Taylor's personal life regarding her relationships. She has appeared on the front pages of tabloid magazines like US Weekly and blogs like Perez Hilton talking about her failed romances. Although she holds feminist views, stories fueled by rumors and false speculation from unreliable sources cause people to see Taylor as a man-eater. In this year's Glamor interview she says she knows the media is under the impression that every time she is seen with a male she will write a song about it. (Swift) Every time Taylor is seen associating with male co-artists or simply enjoying her days off with her friends, it's certain that the paparazzi and gossip bloggers have sparked another so-called romance. There have been some outrageous incidents where her brother has been labeled as her boyfriend.
