RESEARCH STUDIES 3I participated in two studies, one was "Do you have a positive personality?" and the other was “Social Needs and Facebook Use.” I think the You Have a Positive Personality hypothesis is that more people have a positive personality than a negative one, and the research study I conducted will prove that right or wrong. The purpose of the study for the person taking it is to understand whether they have a positive or negative personality. The hypothesis of social needs and Facebook use is that people's social skills and Facebook are related. In which, taking the study, it will benefit the researchers whether they are related or not. A question that was asked in case you have a positive personality, was that I try to look at the point of view of everyone who disagrees before making a decision, and the choices were does not describe me well, describes me very well, or a middle ground. I replied that it describes me very well, and I think this is common among people, so many people would answer that it describes me very well and that it would increase the chances of more people having a more positive personality. Another question asked in this study is that I often have tender and concerned feelings for people less fortunate than me. The choices were don't describe me well, describe me very well, and somewhere in between. The answer I chose describes me very well, and I think this can determine whether you care about others, or whether you care more about yourself, and I think more people care about others rather than just themselves. Which also leads to whether you have a positive or negative personality. Another question posed during the study was that I am usually objective when watching a film or acting, and often do not get completely caught up in... middle of the paper... the two cognitive aspects are imagination and perspective taking. For the other study, Social Needs and Facebook Use, there were no results except thanks for participation. However, he explained that the purpose of the study was to determine people's social needs and related use of Facebook, other data elements, such as gender, are collected to help identify any unexpected findings. I think the study did not yield results, because if I participated in the study, it would prove the hypothesis true or false and would not benefit me.
