My last few weeks of school and personal life have been a bit interesting. Everything I knew had changed before my eyes. I always knew that things in life never stay the same because then life would be too boring and uninteresting. However, I didn't expect them to change so quickly and so soon. Luckily for me, my professor in my ENC1102 class introduced me to two amazing methods for stress relief: yoga classes and the WOW Center (CHC), which is a place for special people. Yoga and CHC have been the best support for me in these crazy and difficult days of my new life. Dashama, who is a Pranasham Yoga Institute practitioner and a decorated writer, expressed this on the Yoga.com site: “If you practice these techniques and put the health tips into practice, it will definitely help you keep on track with any aspect of your life". goals." (Dashama, 2014) I kept this phrase in mind during the exercises and my visits to the CHC to focus on my goals, but the best part is that not only does it help me in these moments, the benefits follow me wherever I go. They keep me at peace and calm all the time. The way I expressed myself these last few days was not the easiest in my life. I went crazy when I realized that my life had changed direction and was complete differently. I was afraid of change. I think I still am. I had a lot of things to do at school: tests, projects, speeches and this essay for example. My father also had little problems his savings on a vacation in Cuba and to top it off every time he tried to work a new problem arises On the other hand, I found a new job which is my man's favorite moment... middle of paper... with it, and this opinion is not because I am accepting it. Actually, in my heart, I have a great love for Victoria, who is my partner in the WOW center, and for all the people at CHC. I think it's a small place with a different world, but with more love than in the rest of Miami. On the other hand, I think yoga is a great tool for life. I wish my dad would try it one day. Taking into account that this time helps me, I think it can help everyone else change in their lives.
