“The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. The story behind this poem is that Frost had spent 3 years in England with his close friend Edward Thomas, who was commonly considered a war poet. They took many walks together in the parks during which they conversed. When Robert Frost returned to New Hampshire in 1915, he had sent Thomas a copy of "The Road Not Taken" and it was supposed to be intended as a cute way to poke fun at indecision. It is more specifically about the indecisiveness that Thomas had shown when they would take their walks together.
