Introduction From the mid-1700s to the early 1900s the world experienced great revolutions and wars. In that period the world changed and has not yet stopped evolving, we still produce great inventions today. If it wasn't for these revolutions our world would still be the same, if it wasn't for Enlightenment thinkers like Rousseau countries like America and France would still be the same, because they wouldn't have fought for rights. If you are an enlightenment thinker, you would understand that everyone should have equal rights and this was a great example for the rich, the poor and the slaves. Enlightenment The thinkers of the Enlightenment had a huge impact on the French Revolution. Major Enlightenment thinkers such as Rousseau would change the minds and ideas of the French people about belonging to a monarchy. They would realize that their government is violating their human rights. The French people would think of the divine right of kings (following God's rules). Rousseau would disagree with this and say; “Every person should be born with the same rights to freedom and happiness, regardless of how rich or poor they are” he would also say; "who should be eliminated" if they happen to break these rules. Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution also had Enlightenment thinkers French Revolution The French Revolution is supposed to be one of the greatest revolutions the world has ever seen since the Industrial Revolution, which began in 1789. One of the leaders. King Louis of France would bring wealth during his reign as monarch. King Louis would later be deposed and executed and this was a big step towards revolution and caused a change... middle of paper... the treatment of them would also stop in South America. Overall these revolutions and wars shaped some of the greatest nations in the world, America and France. I would start with France's decision that it would no longer accept any inequality in the country between rich and poor and an enlightener would come along and state that every person should be born with equal rights. Then they would eliminate all the kings and nobles and become the first republic. The Americans would see what the French have done and abandon the English as their monarch through a war that would include many countries. The civil war would include South America and North America. Ideas page 1.
