Throughout the world there are many religions such as Christianity, Catholicism and Islam. Many of the devout people who strictly follow their religion and regularly attend church are considered perfect people, but in reality they are not. Being a perfect human being is impossible, because human beings make mistakes and it's part of life. There is no such thing as a perfect person. The common things that are part of life are considered sins in church, and since the faithful are human beings they commit these sins. Things like spreading rumors or being greedy happen in human nature and nothing can be done about it. Other things are also serious sins in the church, and are also frowned upon in normal society. Since we are all human beings, the faithful also do the same. Something like committing adultery or cheating on your spouse happens in the real world. This concept of practitioners not being perfect is also represented in literature and an example would be that of John Proctor in The Crucible.
