Everyone's life depends on the goals they set for themselves. When you achieve your goals it gives pleasure and satisfaction, but the same goes for pursuing your desires. As you pursue a goal, you imagine the pleasure of achieving it. Once you reach your goal, the pleasure may not be as great as you imagined. The pursuit of happiness is the lifestyle. It makes people believe and have dreams and that's what keeps people going. Achieving a goal gives brief pleasure and satisfaction. Once someone has achieved their goal, they may or may not have something else to strive for. Sometimes achieving a goal is just a step in the direction of achieving their highest goal. For example, someone who attends college to further their education to be trained in the job they want will have the goal of graduating from college.
