Shakespeare miraculously creates beautiful images using the five senses to capture the attention of his audience. It perfectly characterizes Romeo as an obsessive lover, blending the theme of obsession together. This incredibly sweet and passionate scene creates a romantic atmosphere for the audience, which continues throughout the play. Even today the play “Romeo and Juliet” has moved hearts thanks to Shakespeare's vivid word painting. Shakespeare created a limitless canvas and his art will remain exceptional for eternity.
