In each country, there are different styles of teaching methods. They also have their own curriculum to follow based on their culture and traditions. We may all have different experiences in our school life. Somehow we might even have the resemblance. This experience is based on the country where I grew up and where I spend most of my school life, which is Myanmar (Burma). There are some positives and negatives that I like to point out as a student to becoming a teacher. It also shows my culture and beliefs about education and also the role of a teacher. Economics and politics also interact with educational methods and teachers' behaviors in my country. The identity of the teacher is also important for teaching, because I believe that teachers are a role model for the student in many other ways. Research shows again and again that children are using the similar action of their teacher while playing. ((Gloria Latham, Mindy Blasise, Shelly Dole, Julie Faulkner and Haren Malone, 2011) The reason I choose to be a teacher is the influence of one of my teachers in particular, the primary teacher, his name is Daw. Khin Thit Thit Lwin. In my primary school, we have to stay with a teacher from kindergarten to 4th grade. Every time I see her she always smiles it's the influence and also the culture to expect. The main reason is that I love being a teacher, that's what I want to be. In my country teachers also wear the students' uniform, it makes me feel like we are in the same organization in the Department of Education. The experience I have in my school life also influenced me... halfway through the work... the time the curriculum should be updated in a relevant and current way conclusion, there are three reasons which influence my becoming a teacher, due to the influence of cultural point of view, the influence of an elementary teacher and the lessons of unjust teachers. Ultimately the most important and precious thing why I choose to become a teacher is myself. I have enjoyed being a teacher since I was young. This is my passion and this is how I will spend my life. In my definition of a good teacher it means supporting, understanding, listening and caring. Be a role model and pass on knowledge to young children.
