DRIBLING: Dribbling moves with the ball as it bounces from one place on the pitch to another. A skilled dribbler can draw opponents towards him and create space for teammates or he can dribble and reach the area to score. Basic dribbling is done with the fingers spread apart to push the ball off the top rather than the palms and keeping the bounce height at waist height. Using your fingers provides greater grip and accurate ball placement. If you hold the ball after dribbling and dribble again, it is considered a foul known as double dribbling. A foul is also awarded if the attacker is tackled in the key area. Types of Dribbling Low Dribbling: Bouncing the ball low closer to the floor which limits the space the opponent can penetrate or steal the ball. Fast Dribbling: This is used when the dribbler's path is open, so to take advantage of the situation, the dribbler moves faster while bouncing the ball to quickly reach a certain distance. Change of Dribbling Pace: This type of dribbling is slow to fast where you do slow dribble to fast dribble and fast to slow dribble. Cross Dribbling: This type of dribbling is used to divert the opponent in defense where you dribble with one hand and push the opponent with the other hand to prevent the opponent from stealing the ball. My strengths would be that I can dribble fast. During the game, if there is open space, I advance towards the opponent's basket by performing a quick dribble and pull the players towards me, creating open spaces for my teammates. Weakness: I don't have enough control over the ball when I do fast dribbling, most of the time I lose the ball or dribble out of bounds as I am mostly concentrated and just look at the ball. To improve it, I need... half of the card... int. MAN TO MAN DEFENSE: It is a tactical defense strategy in which all defenders mark one player each. It is a good defense mode that relies on individual defensive capabilities. This type of defense allows players to mark their opponent with a similar skill level to their own. Types of man-to-man defenseBall defense: It is a type of man-to-man defense in which a defender tries to pressure the opponent with the ball to force them to make mistakes, miss shots by making them go to their weak side or in an awkward position. Trapping - It is a type of man-to-man defense in which a defender leaves the assigned player and goes to double the ball holder, where the main objective is to frustrate the ball carrier into a missed shot, foul or errant pass. This type of defense requires high-level teamwork and coordination. Strengths: I have good reflexes that help me defend and block the ball.
