On page 432, after Mrs. Linde asks if Nora will ever tell Torvald about the advance, Nora says "Yes, someday perhaps, after numerous years, when I am no more pleasant-looking than I am now. Try not to snicker in my face! That is, of course, when Torvald is no longer so gifted in my eyes as he is now; be grateful to have something available for later…” This clearly shows that Nora knows that Torvald only considers her a trophy, a toy, a doll, with the end goal simply to seduce her. He doesn't consider Nora his sweetheart, and she knows it. "[I might] consider having something for possible later use.." shows that when she is no longer attractive, she will have some sort of control over Torvald anyway, further outlining her deceitful and devious
