Who or what influenced me to attend the University of Sydney?After discovering my career path, I began searching for top biology universities with excellent entrepreneurship programs. I presented a couple of names to my superintendent and he wasn't impressed. "Sabrina, there are universities that have even better biology programs than this list of colleges. You're a smart girl and you have a lot of potential that can't be wasted." He gave me three brochures from three different universities to research and one of them was Syracuse University. I knew its name more than the other options, so I started doing extensive research about it. The College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University made a huge impression on me, and as soon as I finished looking at the plethora of opportunities and programs it offered, such as the Study Abroad program, I decided this university would be my number one choice. Additionally, health and wellness programs at Syracuse, such as the Syracuse Counseling Center or health and wellness promotions, are resources that every university should have. When comparing Syracuse to other schools, the health and wellness opportunities offered place Syracuse on a higher pedestal than other universities. I also read student reviews of the university and what excites me the most is the fact that I will be surrounded by intelligent people who are particularly interested in the field I will go into. I was surprised that I had not considered this university as one of my top options in the initial phase of my university search. Syracuse University's biology program is highly ranked nationally, and its entrepreneurship and emerging businesses major is highly respected. I firmly believe...... middle of paper ......r go to school or not. Also, I've been playing softball since fifth grade and it was love at first time. Of course the college I'm applying to has to have a softball team or I won't even consider attending. The Syracuse softball team is outstanding, ranked 23rd in the NFCA rankings. It would be a privilege for me to be a part of the Syrcause University softball team, proudly representing it on and off the field. I plan to start a blog or nutrition program, if allowed, at the university to help prepare me for my career. It would also benefit the University to have an even healthier and more informed student population. I would also like to intern for all my years. I would like to shadow chiropractors, nutritionists, naturopathic doctors and business owners from any clinics or hospitals nearby.
