Although I am not the best writer, I have come a long way and improved immensely since my first essay "Where is the Line Drawn?" at the beginning of the semester to my last essay “Differences” towards the end of the semester. If it were possible, I would have liked to compare my very first essay of semester 1 with my last essay of semester 2 to show the extraordinary change and my writing journey. During the entire 2nd semester I acquired some new writing, reading and analytical skills. . Some of the important writing skills I have learned involve crafting an arguable thesis, critical thinking, and information literacy. Before, I didn't really have any argumentative theses in my writing, which meant that my articles never really had a purpose; Why am I writing this? I still have trouble every now and then, a comment you left on one of my papers said "fine, but make your point more boldly, directly".
