After my experiences with UFDN 3001 and extensive reading of the Scriptures, I believe that the application of the Bible in your life is extremely important when considering whether you are a Christian. I currently do not attend church regularly and my parents practice a different religion. However, I believe in God, but I am confused whether to consider myself a Christian if I were to evaluate my life when it comes to practicing Christianity. If someone asked me if I believe in God, my answer would be yes, the Lord is the only God I believe in. But some of my lifestyle choices could be considered sinful and unchristian. For example, there are times when I can get extremely irritated and occasionally use swear words. Also, some weekends I will drink alcohol heavily with friends. I would consider it a sin because the Lord created my body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and when I consume alcohol, I consume toxic substances and continue to harm myself. While these are just a few examples of sinful actions, growing up in the age of social media, Christianity's standards of practice seem pretty strict to me. To a certain extent, from the public perspective, if you do not practice religion precisely, some people may judge you and not consider you a believer of the Lord. On the other hand, referring to my first question, I believe it is up to yourself whether you believe your lifestyle is worthy of Christianity. To answer my question, I believe in some way that my lifestyle can meet the standards of practicing religion under the eyes of the Lord as well as under my own eyes. As long as I believe my lifestyle can meet the standards in God's eyes, that's all that matters because the Lord is the only one who can judge
