Managing ethical issues in the workplace requires a consistent and cautious approach to issues that may be potentially dangerous or illegal. When dealing with ethical issues, an organization must first identify the problem, first of all these problems must be identified by the organization. When you realize these problems, planning for a solution begins. Many companies take the indirect approach to handle these issues. Mandatory seminars relating to the company code of ethics will be organised. There are also structured programs that address issues such as sexual harassment and equal opportunities. This reduces the chance of an ethical incident occurring, including having a strict chain of command that enforces the standards the company chooses to follow. This creates an environment where the incumbent leadership cracks down on any incidents of unethical behavior by adopting a zero-tolerance policy when such matters arise. If the leadership does not follow the same ethical policies, the organization will lose credibility, setting a corrupt example for subordinates to follow. It is an individual responsibility, from the employee to the CEO of the company, not to tolerate this
