Eventually, we had to hire an accountant for accounting and other complex financial procedures. And we are proud of our decision to have Vivek as our treasurer and trustee. Currently, Vivek is pursuing his higher studies in Canada. Despite this, he maintained his relationship with us. We feel free to ask for your advice or assistance and we get it in a timely manner. Although it was difficult to be geographically distant from him, he continues to be an asset to our organization today. Vivek still uses his social networks to organize volunteer doctors for our health camp. He discusses his vision with his astute professors (of global health, social work and epidemiology) and updates us with the latest developments. His focus and vision make me believe in him as an entrepreneur. While, all this without any expectation in return, demonstrates a sense of philanthropy. His successes in academia and research were expected of him. Vivek continues to inspire and motivate us.
