The ninety minutes that follow evaluate that proposition as the main characters struggle to make it in a foreign environment that is both surprising and dazzling (that juxtaposition is clearly visible here). From the first minutes of the story, boss Alfonso Cuarón demonstrates his skills as an influential producer. It's hard not to be amazed by the vividness of the world it creates on an IMAX and 3D screen (the additional expenses involved with both features are effortlessly worth the effort here.)
