“Ethical leaders within an organization cannot make every ethical decision alone” (Ferrell, 2015). In centralized management, all decisions are made at the top. However, there are still many opportunities for lower-level employees to make unethical decisions. Management can promote ethical behavior at all levels by setting a good example and following its own code of conduct. The ethical environment should also be carefully monitored.
