I've heard this saying over and over “If you ride with someone at your skill level you won't see much improvement, but if you ride with someone better than you, your skills they will get better” and I can promise you will get better, for example I haven't been very big in the park, just an average jump and this winter I did sessions on a local hill called Garrison 15 minutes from my hometown Rochester, NH all The next day I just sent the kickers away, threw catches and other various things and next thing I know a Foster Daily Democrat newspaper article came up, asked me some questions and took some pictures, then he was leaving. The next thing I knew was the next day, when I woke up to someone tweeting me a photo of myself in one of the larger newspapers in my area. I felt so bad, if I had been riding with people I hadn't looked up to I probably wouldn't have been there doing such difficult sessions while trying to impress people with my progress. Overall, my snowboarding days were some of the best of my life where I could truly say I was happy and content just for something I wanted to choose
