If it wasn't for her making me learn to think and learn on my own, I wouldn't be where I am today. There were many moments during my high school days when I needed to be independent in my learning because there were teachers who did not teach the lesson correctly. While other students struggled with those teachers, I was able to pass that test and succeed in those lessons. I have been told my whole life that college is much more independent when it comes to learning than any other time in your life. I believe that because I learned at such a young age how to teach myself, I have a better chance of success than others who have not had the same
