Some people choose their party based on a few factors. Some people choose a party because it's the same party their parents have always been. Standing feels bad sometimes. In reality, agreeing with a politician from my own party, with the same morals as me, is equally comforting. It shows how much people from the same party have in common. Pressuring someone is also not the way to go. It just takes away, in a way, the veracity of the voting system that we already have in place. When it comes to politics, a person should not feel like they already have to make a decision. Hopefully one day people won't take this party system so seriously to the point of stress
