Dimensions of Wellbeing If you want to live a pleasant and fulfilling life, you need to know what being well truly means. Living a wellness lifestyle means incorporating all aspects of what it takes to thrive as a human being. It goes beyond the health of the physical body and incorporates important social, emotional and spiritual factors that, in one way or another, play a role in every person's life. Knowing how to act correctly, control our feelings, channel our frustrations, and improve in every dimension of well-being will lead to a satisfying life. Spiritual, physical, emotional, nutritional and social well-being define the most important components of life, and thriving in them is vital. Spiritual Spiritual well-being is very much about our connection with God. It involves our attitudes, actions, behaviors and values. It exists to give purpose and meaning to our lives. It provides the core for all other aspects of wellness. From a Judeo-Christian perspective, spiritual health involves restoring our relationship with Christ Jesus. This means believing in Him as Savior and accepting His salvation. To go a step further and be well spiritually, a person needs to live for God every day. One must continually submit to the will of God and live a life like Christ. Spiritual well-being is absolutely essential to our overall health. When a person is spiritually well, he or she can easily define his or her core purpose and express the values ​​he or she holds dear. The ability to do so contributes to our satisfaction in life. This then leads to our ability to effectively demonstrate spiritual well-being. To show spiritual well-being a person must learn to forgive. Practicing emotional well-being can bring healing. Physical and nutritional well-being will lead to a longer and more enjoyable life, while social well-being will make life worth living. Sharing a healthy life with family, friends and God will make your time on this earth an irreplaceable experience.
