The concert took place on March 13, 2014 at 12:30 pm the artists were Lisa Fujita, Brendan O'Donnell, Daniel Mitnitsky, Yannick Rafalimanana performed five different pieces from the Piano Quartet. The first was a Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor op. 15 was Allegro Very Moderato, the next was III. Adagio and both of these pieces were written by Gabriel Faure. The next was a piano quartet in E flat major, op.47, entitled Sostenuto assai- Allegro ma non tanto, written by Robert Schumann. Finally there is the Piano Quartet in G minor, K.493, I. Allegro, III. Allegretto and these two pieces were by WA Mozart. This wasn't the exact order and they changed some things, like how things would be played and they changed the Quartet from E flat major to G minor because they said it was difficult to play. Playing different types of music gave us different experiences. I really enjoyed the whole performance. Each of the artists played a different instrument. Lisa Fujita played the violin, Brendan the viola, Daniel the cello and Yannick the piano. Each of them had a very important role. All the performers looked calm and, as if they knew what they were doing, were dressed very formally, but the audience was not dressed so formally because it was during the school day and the event was not a black tie event. The the first piece that was performed was Mozart's piano quartet called allegro in G minor. During the music I notice a lot of imitations between the strings. It was pretty fun. The tempo of the piece was cheerful because it was fast, fast. The meter of this piece was fast, 4 bars per meter, as you said. The beginning of the piece had some dark moments. But… middle of the paper… a little more boring, but I was pleasantly shocked that it wasn't actually boring. When artists were asked the question what type of music they prefer. Brendan said he likes Faure and Schumann. Daniel said he prefers chain music and Mozart was difficult for him. Lisa said she also likes romantic music and dark music. Finally Yannick couldn't give a definitive answer, he said he likes all music. Who also talk about how it goes without a host, they said that sacrifices have to be made and that we have to make it work. They also said that even if they didn't like a piece they would work on it until they liked it and get to know it better. The advice I would give to anyone going to see this concert is to pay attention and not sleep or sit on the phone because you will miss important things.
