However, it is sometimes claimed that playing video games with professional social content often leads adolescents to behave more cooperatively and helpfully and perhaps teach them important life lessons. Furthermore, encouraging adolescents to participate in pro-social and educational television programs could have a positive effect on adolescents by improving their knowledge and morality. For example, according to Gentile (2014), cited in Palo Alto Medical Foundation (2015), adolescents are more likely to be understanding and helpful in their daily lives. It is believed that adolescents are more likely to develop problem solving and logical skills, and they also appear to multitask more and manage multiple goals (Raise Smart Kid, 2015). Furthermore, Gentile (2003) states that adolescents who play video games tend to improve their manual dexterity and visual attention, which probably helps them in school. Furthermore, video games are based on a direct reward system, therefore rewards increase motivation and interest in activities (Norcia, 2014). This shows that although most video games involve action games, they also include strategies and obstacles to overcome that can stimulate adolescent learning, such as solving problems and achieving results.
