This type of bullying consists of the same foundations as traditional bullying which are physical, verbal and threatening means that make the bully acquire a sense of superiority and power. These actions can be direct (e.g. hitting, verbally attacking face to face, etc.) or indirect (e.g. rumors, gossip, etc.). ¬(Juvanan) Despite the great benefits offered by technological advances, they have transformed old bullying into less controllable abuse. Behind a keyboard, bullies have the power not only to hide their identity but also to change it to avoid being discovered for their serious crimes. (Debra) Cyberbullying exists in different forms, for example cyber harassment which consists of constant offensive massages. A second form is known as impersonation and occurs when cyberbullies hack into their victims' accounts and sit/do things as if they were theirs to damage their reputations. Finally, cyber denigration occurs when false or altered information is published on the web to cause harm to the person. (Debra) Most of this type of bullying is found among adolescents who, hoping to feel affiliation or strength when trying to fit in, do anything without measuring the consequences of their actions
