Problem StatementAs humans move into the twenty-first century, scientific research continues at an exponentially increasing rate. Even though the work of researchers appears to have a positive impact on people, the common debate among the general population is whether or not there is a limit to how far scientists can take their research and impact the future of society. The changes that scientists bring about in society often elude prediction, such as diseases, dangerous paints, and other products that fail the test of time. A big question that is hotly debated is how to transition to cars powered by alternative fuel sources, given that the world's oil supply will run out relatively soon. The electric car seems to be the best candidate for a replacement for now, but many are still tired of completely discarding the trusty internal combustion engine for an invention barely as old as the people who will buy it. Electric fuel is promising, but it hasn't been around long enough to stand the test of time needed for mass acceptance. Here the most direct question arises: is the electric car the solution for a more economically responsible car? As a member of the future generation of innovators and leaders, I believe this research, combined with my passion for automobiles, could lead to a clearer understanding of how I can help improve the automobile. In a highly road-connected world, if the problem of using petroleum-based fuels is not solved, the entire gas-consuming world could find itself at a standstill. This apocalyptic stop would cease all travel and we would be returned to a more primitive position. However, if we researched and found an alternative in advance, we would be able to transit...... middle of paper ......t of the electric car with economic and practical benefits that would invigorate the country and make life easier for everyone. Returning to the initial question of this essay, the electric car is a worthy solution to our energy crisis and proves to be an economically responsible car. Long-term cost savings outweigh easily improveable defects. However, to better understand the work done by scientists, it is necessary to conduct specific research on the electric car's predecessors and determine how they have stood the test of time. This will help predict how the electric car will survive in the world. The future may always present a hint of uncertainty, but if scientists, governments and motorists implement the new automobile carefully, the goal of a gradual transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources can finally be achieved..
