As I grew up I began to realize that the world is full of different societies, and after taking some sociology courses, I began to understand that societies had a specific role. I later discovered that this realization is part of a global perspective. The global perspective is important because it explains that where we live can shape the life we ​​have. Growing up surrounded by technology, for example, gives teenagers in technologically advanced societies the power of knowledge at the click of a button. This creates a large gap between the society of our generation and the society of our grandparents' generation. Our grandparents grew up in a time where technology was not prevalent in their daily lives. This led to hard work becoming the basis of their society. The harder people of the older generation worked, the more they were respected; whereas, in today's era, it is more a question of intellect and how quickly information can be distributed among the masses. Today's society also has very different views on race, gender, class, gender, and age that further separate the society of today's teenagers from the society of our grandparents.
