Impact of Political Factors on Global Business The impact of political factors on global business is vital to the success of businesses. An unstable political environment will have a negative impact on global business. Countries experiencing political unrest, war, and acts of terrorism will dissuade other countries from entering into global trade agreements. Analysis of China's political factors predicts that China will lead the world in global business in 2020. China's transition from red communist to orange danger is what will lead the country to have a positive impact on global business. Furthermore, China is the second largest country that uses purchasing power parity (PPP), which has a significant positive impact on business growth globally. The decision by China's political leaders to make changes to the way business is conducted is one of the main reasons why the country's purchasing power parity has significantly increased and the cause of the growth of the global economy and business (Kennedy , 2005). Political leaders and decision makers from underdeveloped countries have a better understanding of how changes in laws, regulations and policies could negatively impact the country's global business entry and/or expansion.
