The Mangaia of Polynesia allow both sexes to begin experimenting with sex as soon as they reach early adolescence. Starting around the ages of 13 and 14, boys are given instructions on how to please a girl after a circumcision ritual. Erotic kissing, breast caressing and sucking are taught, and techniques are given on how to get the girl to have multiple orgasms. After two weeks, an older, more sexually experienced woman begins to have sexual intercourse with the boy to see if her lessons have paid off and to give him more techniques to use. While this is happening, girls are taught how to thrust their hips and move their vulva so they can have multiple orgasms. The girl will then be entrusted to the hands of a "good man" to learn how to achieve orgasm. This culture believes that sexuality is strongest during adolescence and once adulthood passes, sexual activity decreases. This type of behavior would not become a cultural norm in the United States because our culture considers it child molestation and everyone involved would be arrested and sentenced to prison
