Topic > The importance of individual teaching practices

The interview, conducted in person, included a series of questions, from the location to the skills and practices of the individual teacher. Nora and I have one key difference that ramifies into more, and that is having attended several secondary schools, which has exposed us to a variety of teachers with the innate ability to influence the lives of their students through a variety of different teaching practices. Our similarity is that we both attended New South Wales public schools that were considered socioeconomically disadvantaged. Despite our differences and similarities, our teachers exert the primary influence on our education, and it is their set of skills and practices that shape our experiences and outcomes.
