Romeo- Love causes Romeo to act impulsively and put himself in dangerous situations. For example, in the second scene of the second act, Romeo sneaks into the Capulet park because of his love for Juliet. He loves her so much that he was willing to risk being captured by Juliet's relative. If he had been caught, a fight could have broken out, which would have put Romeo's life in danger. Furthermore, he would lose his life due to the prince's punishment. However, due to his intrusion into the Capulet group in the fifth scene of the first act, it is Tybalt's anger that jeopardizes Romeo's well-being. This shows the intensity of Romeo's love for Juliet and how he cares more about seeing her than his own safety. For example, in scene three of act five, Romeo kills himself because he believes that JulietLove caused Romeo to get into dangerous situations and caused Juliet to go against what her parents wanted. This is important to the story because it is Romeo and Juliet's love for each other that ends the feud. If Romeo and Juliet had never fallen in love, they would never have killed each other to be together. Their deaths helped Lord Montague and Lord Capulet resolve their differences and end the feud between the two houses. Therefore, without their lives, the feud would never have broken out. Since Lord Capulet and Lord Montague are involved in an unnecessary feud, Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet have all lost their lives. This theme is important to the story because the unnecessary fighting is causing many casualties and disturbing the peace of Verona. If the feud had never existed then Verona would have order and the six people who died would still be alive. This fight is the driving force among all the negative events in the play. The Effects of LossLady Montague- After Romeo's exile, Lady Montague was so distraught that she died of her own grief. The loss of her son forced her to overexert herself and literally die of a broken heart. The pain consumed her, causing her premature death. The feud between Montague and Capulet - The loss of Lord Capulet and Lord Montague's sons unites the two families. The death of Romeo and Juliet helped their parents realize how wrong their feud was and bond over their children's memorial. For example, Lord Montague wants to build a statue of Juliet, so that everyone can remember her, and Lord Capulet wants to build a statue of Rome next to Juliet. This project helps bring families together and save theirs
