Censorship works best when people know they will be told exactly how they are doing going forward and beyond any doubt. As a One Minute Manager, the reprimand should be resolved immediately. Tell the person what he or she has been up to: be particular. Enlighten that individual on how you feel about what they have and in a way that is clear. Again, use “awkward silence” to allow the individual to reflect and acknowledge what they have done. Console the individual of his or her importance with a handshake or other friendly touch. Remind that person how much they are valued. By giving a flatterer after the rebuke you strengthen the person's esteem. Tell them you think well of them, but not of their activities right now. Understand that when the scolding is over, it's over. Holding onto feelings of resentment and dragging out the reproach will be really dangerous
