Working here has made me realize that I want to work with children later in life, but also help them. A few years ago I set a goal that I will do everything in my power to keep it that way and I stick to it. I want to be a nurse working in the neonatal intensive care unit where I can work with babies but also help them. It's going to be a long, bumpy, bumpy road, but I'm willing to get through it. Being able to watch them grow up and take off the ventilators and gadgets if they can, and help the families if they can't. At the same time, I want to work in the ER and be involved in all the action and blood on my way to the NICU. It will take time and energy, but I'm willing to give it my all to get there.
