What is the Holocaust? The Holocaust was the killing of 600 million Jews. The leader of this mass was Hitler. He wanted to kill European Jews. Hitler's desire for the "Superior" race was to destroy many impure lives in concentration camps. Hitler as a young man, Hitler as an old man, the concentration camps, Hitler commits suicide, after the Holocaust. The young Hitler was born in 1889 on April 20 in Austria. He had a very moody and very unstable character. Hitler when he was in school was terrible at everything, but surprisingly good at gymnastics, he had top marks in that class. Subsequently at the age of 16 he left school and his dream was to become a painter and he left home to see if he could make that dream come true. Subsequently he did not become a painter; he became an army courier and won an Iron Cross but moved up the ranks. After that Hitler becomes a leader of the Nazis. Second, after World War I, Hitler used violence and fear to kill Jews. The Holocaust was the systematic persecution and murder of six million Jews and other people it killed. Holocaust is also a Greek word and the meaning is fire sacrifice. The Nazis arrived in January 1933 and believed that Jews were racial. They also attacked the Russians. Even in 1933 the Jewish population numbered nine million. Subsequently, in 1945, the Germans killed nearly two out of three Jews as the final solution. The third of all concentration camps were established after Hitler's appointment as chancellor in 1933. The Nazis also called the Green Police because they wore green uniforms and went home there, picked them up and took them to the camps. When they arrived at the camps they stayed in these houses until the middle of the paper…holocaust. Subsequently, in 1945, Soviet troops entered the concentration camps and found piles of human corpses, bones and ashes. The soldiers also found thousands of survivors, Jews and non-Jews, suffering from starvation and disease. Subsequently, in December 1945, President Harry Truman issued a directive easing restrictions on immigration to the United States for those displaced by the Nazi regime which ordered more than forty thousand to immigrate to the United States; and twenty-eight thousand of them were Jews. In 1948 the United States congress passed the Displacement Act which provided for approximately four hundred thousand US immigrants in January 1949 and December 31, 1952. Now you know what happened during the Holocaust, what Hitler did, what happened to the Jews and the camps and how Hitler he kills himself and how he was young and old.
