Short summary/Introduction: The novel that caught my interest is Shadow and Bone by author Leigh Bardugo. To begin with, I must admit that I am not a reader who is always interested in a book for a long period of time because I have a tendency to lose interest and get bored. On the other hand, Bardugo wrote a very intriguing novel that made me want to read it more and more. Throughout the novel I was never bored of the plot. Shadow and Bone the first book of his trilogy. The protagonist is Alina Starkov, and she is an orphan. His best friend's name is Mal, and he grew up to be a charming and incredible hunter. After growing up a bit, Alina and Mal become soldiers tasked with crossing the Shadow Mob. The Shadow Fold is a dangerous place of complete darkness and is inhabited by volcra; dangerous creatures that feed on human flesh. The two headed into the Shadow and here Alina saw a soldier being taken away and eaten by a volcra himself. In just a second, Mal is gravely injured when a volcra's claws pierce his own...
