In 2011, Snapchat, a photo sharing app, was advertised. It was started by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown, who were all brothers. Originally, Snapchat was used by Rebecca Minkoff so she could let others see her spring dress collection before the models walked the runway in the dresses. Eventually, several people started using Snapchat for other reasons. Snapchat allows people to take photographs using the app and share them immediately. However, there is an unexpected problem. Once someone sends an image to a friend of their choice, the friend can only view the image for up to ten seconds. Once ten seconds have passed, the image may never be seen again. On the other hand, the image can be captured via screenshot. If this happens, the Snapchat team will immediately notify the user that their photograph has been captured. Furthermore, users can also create stories. When creating a story, you can combine photographs and videos in sequential order. The story can last as long as the person wants, but after twenty-four hours the story is no longer visible and has disappeared forever. Recent headlines claim that Snapchat is worth around nineteen billion dollars. Nonetheless, Snapchat has approximately one hundred million monthly users under the age of twenty-five (“Snapping” 2015). Not surprisingly, the number is stable
