One particle country I will talk about is the Dominican Republic. There were 33 missionaries from the United States who went to the country for humanitarian service. Around February 2008 to help rebuild an urban community destroyed by Storm Olga in December 2007. Their stay lasted only a week. They slept in a tropical-style house in the urban area of ​​Santiago. On their way back to the United States fourteen of them were infected with dengue fever. Before taking part in the trip, only two of them had been informed about the disease. At the time this disease was epidemic in the Dominican Republic. The fear is not whether the United States will be able to treat missionaries, but whether it accidentally brings some in with its clothes without realizing it.
