Modern medicine, while better in certain situations, does not always produce better results. Holistic medicine provides countless natural ways to cure body aches and pains. Concern for an individual's health should not cease when the pain disappears for the time being. Medicine must focus on the body throughout life. Additionally, wellness should encompass the entire body, as found in the practice of holistic medicine. Holistic medicine methods are less expensive and more accessible to individuals. If society continues to have a single view on the type of medicine available, the vast majority of individuals will not have access to adequate care. Holistic and alternative medicine will incorporate more treatment methods that will allow greater access to medicine for all individuals.
