When you think about the two books Animal Farm and To Kill a Mockingbird you think that there aren't many similarities, but in reality there are. The way there are similarities is because of the themes of the books, the loss of innocence. In To Kill a Mockingbird Scout and Jem are the ones who truly experience the loss of innocence. In To Kill a Mockingbird there are many instances where you lose your innocence because of Scout and Jem. These two kids really don't have a care in the world and think that nothing bad will ever happen, but these two still don't have a good enough grasp on what the real world is actually like.
