In the story of “Kora” Island, the island had been devastated by a violent earthquake triggered by the eruption of a volcano four years earlier. The island that before the disaster had an area of about twenty square miles has been reduced to less than a quarter of that size, at about four square miles. Before the earthquakes the island was able to comfortably accommodate 850 to 900 people. It was a quiet island where the inhabitants got along well. Due to the disasters, the lives of the inhabitants were changed forever. The aftermath left by the disaster has left conditions on the island quite bleak. If something is not done quickly, conditions will continue to worsen and the resulting problems will jeopardize their way of life and, ultimately, their very existence. As a believer in Divine Command Theory, I refuse to be considered a god. Because the Bible says in Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me” and Exodus 34:14 says “You shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” Having said that, I am willing to be the leader of the people of the island. As their leader it is my responsibility to develop a strategic plan that will help save the inhabitants of the island, improve living conditions and improve the moral attitude of all. Dealing with the problems of Kora Island is not an easy task because we are dealing with people. Different people react differently to different situations. Their moral composition is not always the same. Different people have different beliefs and values. So the task is often difficult and perplexing. How should we proceed to analyze the situation? Consider what questions we need to ask? Wh...... middle of the card...... collect fruits, berries and grains from the island. This will supplement the food that can be grown and harvested on the island. Everyone on the island will share the available food equally. If the time comes when there is more food than people can eat, then we will dry grains, fruits and vegetables for later use. Meat can also be cut into thin slices, smoked and dried to preserve it. The goal here is everyone's survival. We will not sacrifice anyone. If we don't survive, we will all die together. We must try to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. Work, everyone must have a job to do. Unless a person is too ill or too young to work, everyone will be given a task to do.
