A family plays a positive role in a person's life that leads to success, or a negative role that leads to failure. The love and concern of a family are very important in determining prosperity in the lives of its members, and without this support, a person will only face adversity. In Fall On Your Knees by Ann-Marie McDonald, the Piper family, mainly the father, is responsible for the painful life of the Piper daughters. The disappointment in the lives of Frances, Kathleen and Mercedes is due to a lack of love and education, inadequate parenting and excessive protection.
